The Network Talk Radio
“Your network is your net-worth”. Imagine having a network of experts and entrepreneurs in any field on speed dial. The Network, with Melissa Cizauskas, Adrienne Blumberg, and Lauren Essex was ‘Not Your Average Talk Show’. It was inspired by the Bay Club Women’s Network in San Diego, California (www.bayclubwomensnetwork.com). This program took a fresh approach in bringing virtually every industry to YOU on air!
Our list of guests was phenomenal, giving you the expertise of entrepreneurs in many various given fields … from law, medicine, aesthetics, wealth management and real estate, tutors, therapists and life coaches … from marketing, fundraising, counselors, designers … to providers, media publications and television reporters … and moms like you and me!
And didn’t won’t stop there!
Our desire was to bring growth strategies that inspire and encourage you, help you discover what you are truly passionate about in life, and offered the opportunity to call and email your questions for our live stream show.
And although The Network Talk Radio program has been discontinued, most of the podcasts from each show are still available to listen to now. And soon, Melissa will be back with a brand new program called Melissa Rocks! Podcast. So enjoy these past podcasts, and stay tuned for great new material soon!

Debbie Kornberg
Owner of The Spice Way – The San Diego, The First Franchise in the United States
Debbie Kornberg is extremely excited to be the owner of the first The Spice Way store in North America. While, having spent the last 20 years in education and in the world of non-profit, Debbie has always had a passion for exotic spices and herbs. In her spare time, she would often find herself in the kitchen cooking, experimenting with food and flavors. When asked where her passion for cooking began, she recalls it started with her grandmother helping her in the kitchen. ”Back in the 1970’s my grandmother was really ahead of her time, she was extremely mindful of eating healthy and would always cook with natural products. Things like paprika, garlic and honey were just staples in her kitchen. As a young girl, she would give me lots of nuts and seeds to snack on. Even back then, my grandmother just knew it was good for you. Amazing! She taught me the basics of eating a healthy lifestyle.” Debbie goes on to explain that it was from these childhood experiences of cooking with her grandmother that created a passion for cooking and drive to experiment in the kitchen with flavors.
With Debbie’s many years of experience in education and working with people, it was a natural fit for her to be in a helping environment and teaching other people the beauty of using spices and herbs in their cooking.
As a full time working mom who cares about eating healthy and at the same time, needing to get dinner fast on the table, she knows the challenges of wanting to ensure the family is getting good solid nutritious meals that are satisfying and taste great! She has found The Spice Way really does have those solutions for people like herself who need to get dinner fast on the table without forsaking quality or living a healthy lifestyle.
As owner of the first store in North America located in Encinitas, California, Debbie is thrilled to be a part of The Spice Way team and is looking forward to sharing all of its healthy and delicious spices with the public. Supporting her in this new endeavor is her fantastic family, husband David and two teenage children Michael and Rachel.

Cheryl Bassitt
Author, Speaker and Creator of Kitchen Table Conversations
Inspired by her own family’s journey, Cheryl created a movement to Bring Families together. This initiative was recently recognized as one of the Top 5 next Best Brilliant Ideas for Humanity.
Often referred to as the “Common Sense Coach” she takes a practical approach to life, family values and healthy habits. As past Executive Director for a major health care association, she has worked with individuals, organizations and families in the areas of personal responsibility, effective communication, goal setting and healthy lifestyle habits.
While her passion to connect may have started with her own family around our own kitchen table, the message is undeniable. Without question, the importance of communication is universal and benefits employees, groups and anyone who recognizes that we need to take responsibility, live above the mark and have a conversation. Kitchen Table Conversations is a breath of humanity in a world overwhelmed with technology, Kitchen Table Conversations is about reconnecting and strengthening.
Her own son’s testimonial: One of the things I am most proud of in my life is my relationship with my family and friends. I can, with 100% certainty, credit that to my mom’s heartbeat for real communication. Growing up and all through high school we held weekly family meetings. I thought everyone had the same relationship with their parents that I had with mine. After leaving for college, I quickly figured out this was not the case. A lot of students came from broken homes and had little to no relationship with their parents. Even students who didn’t come from a “broken home” still seemed to have a broken relationship with their parents.
My mother’s initiative goes way beyond just reconnecting families. The principles she shares are key to building any healthy relationship. Her vision also goes way beyond helping families reconnect, but helping to build a better America. Building a stronger America starts at home. She always talks about how ripples flow out, not in. I believe this is the positive “ripple” our country needs right now.
Cheryl is also the author of several interactive workbooks that teach individuals and their families the core values needed to live a healthier life. Her most recent work includes the 101 Creative Ways to Save Money Workbook, and How to Hold a Family Meeting for Real, accompanied by an interactive Family Meeting Placemat that gives a simple, yet powerful tool to assist families in holding a meaningful family meeting through positive, fun and inspiring communication.
